Team Water Polo for grades 6th – 8th. 

Boys = 4402-U21A

Girls = 4402-U21B

Learn the sport of Water Polo, including techniques, passing, scoring, defense, and offense, through drills and conditioning. Practices will be at North Rockford Middle School and start the week of August 23. The boys will practice on Monday and Wednesday from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm and the girls will practice on Tuesday and Thursday, time 3:30-5:30pm. Games are scheduled at home and local area school pools on Saturdays in September and October.

 There is no practice on Thursday, Sept 2, and no practice on Monday, Sept 6(Labor Day).

Ages 5 – 13. Yoga is an excellent way to provide safe, physical movement for people of all ages. Yoga for kids incorporates both expressive and physical play. By using creative and fun techniques, children will explore and discover awareness of their physical bodies and emotions.

Yoga helps to improve coordination, posture, strength and flexibility. The class provides a friendly, non-competitive environment where children are encouraged to exhibit positive and respectful behavior in a group setting. Please bring a towel or mat and enjoy the fun!

Tamara Reaume, RYT 200. she has received over 200 hours of Therapeutic Yoga Teacher training from Grand Rapids Healing Yoga. She also has certifications from Yoga fit Kids and Mindful Schools. Tamara has been sharing her passion for yoga with Kent County since 2012.

The Rockford Community Services Women's Soccer League is a recreational league with an emphasis on fun for all individuals involved. Each team must have a minimum of 15 players and a maximum of 22 players. The Advanced league will play games on Thursday evenings and the Rec league will play games on Wednesday evenings. Players are limited to playing on one team and advanced players cannot play on Recreational teams. One game per week. For sign-up forms or more information call Rockford Community Services at 616-863-6322.

The team fee is $350.00 for Fall 21.

This course is a fast pace while still covering all the basics of sit, stay, down, come, leave it, as well as walking on a loose leash. We will practice new exercises with increased levels of distraction each session. There will also be individual attention to each participant throughout the class time. Designed for fully vaccinated dogs 4 months and older. Please bring a hungry dog to class along with soft tasty dog treats.

DATE CHANGE AS OF 8/31:  CLASS NOW BEGINS TUESDAY 9/21, NOT 9/14.

This class is for adults only to work with their dogs. Please include Dog's Name, Age, and Breed in the Notes/Comments Box. Please also bring a copy of current vaccine history to first class.

Instructor: Gary Paul is a semi-retired international management consultant who has spoken on the subject of Controlling Stress at the national level. 

Our instructor: Gary Paul, is a retired International Management Consultant. Art and science of Stress Management has been an interest of his since 1978. Mantric Meditation has been a part of his personal life since 1983.
